BCI is not only a cutting-edge technology for exploring life sciences but also the core engine propelling human health to new heights. By utilizing BCI technology to enable precise treatment for patients and improve their quality of life has been the mission of IntelliMicro since its founding, and it remains the steadfast goal pursed day and night by every member of IntelliMicro.
Charging Toward Year-End Goals, Fueling the Innovation Engine
As the year draws to a close, our relentless drive continues. The project teams of IntelliMicro maintain full momentum, driven by data, and uninterrupted production lines. With the passion of pioneers, every member of IntelliMicro balances speed and quality, striving to achieve annual targets while building formidable momentum for the next wave of breakthrough innovations.
Tackling the BCI Project Solidifying the Foundation for Commercialization
IMIE Intelligent Retina: This BCI project stands as IntelliMicro’s first flagship initiative to bring cutting-edge neural modulation technology to the global stage. After successfully completing the world’s first implantation of the “256-channel flexible electrode retinal implantable stimulator” in 2020, the upgraded product officially secured its project registration and inspection report this November, signaling the IntelliMicro BCI project will realize the dream of regaining sight for more blind people worldwide.

Stroke Rehabilitation System: A vast number of people worldwide suffer from the aftereffects of stroke. This system aims to use the invasaive BCI technology to precisely capture brain electrical signals generated when patients have “motor intentions,” using these signals to drive external devices that assist limb movement. This creates an efficient closed-loop “thought-to-action” training system, stimulating neural remodeling in the brain to improve the health of patients and enhance their quality of life.

Recently, through close collaboration between IntelliMicro’s Chinese and international technical teams, the project has successfully completed critical animal trials for the electrical stimulation of motor cortex, yielding systematic and valuable experimental data.
High-Density Visual Restoration: This project bypasses the damaged eyeball and optic nerves by implanting a high-density electrode array into the brain’s visual cortex, directly transmitting visual information to generate fundamental visual perception. It offers revolutionary hope for restoring visual function to numerous individuals who have lost their sight later in life. Currently, the project has completed core foundational research and is advancing rapidly.
Three Decades of Accumulation Pioneering the Future of the Industry
Three decades ago, the Company’s research team had achieved original breakthroughs in BCI visual reconstruction, marking a significant leap from “0 to 1”, accumulated profound technical expertise and R&D experience. Three decades later, every member of IntelliMicro is consistently advancing the deep integration of medical needs and engineering intelligence, striving to achieve an industrial leap from “1 to 100.”
IntelliMicro remains steadfast in its mission to define and pioneer the clinical translation of BCI technology. With unwavering resolve, robust capabilities, and boundless confidence, we pledge to transform cutting-edge medical innovations into accessible, reliable and affordable inclusive treatment solutions for patients worldwide, and contribute solid IntelliMicro’s strength and wisdom to building a global health community.
