April 23, 2021, Dr. CHANGLIN PANG, CTO of IntelliMicro, delivered “RP Experts Come to Us”, the first lecture of the lecture series hosted by the China Association of the Blind, and jointly organized by the Chinese Committee of People with Retinal Degeneration and the Love Union of RP Light. The lecture was broadcast live on Tencent Meeting and many RP patients actively participated in it.
During the lecture, Dr. CHANGLIN PANG introduced the development course and technological evolution of IntelliMicro, and expounded on the latest progress of IMIE Intelligent Vision Implant, the Company’s first-launched project. He encouraged the blind to redouble their efforts with self-reliance, and called upon the whole society to show attention, understanding and care for the blind. IntelliMicro will spare no effort to promote the IMIE Intelligent Vision Implant project to serve the blind all over the world as soon as possible, and bring the hope of restoring the vision.
IMIE Intelligent Vision Implant, IntelliMicro’s first launched project in which the neural adjusting and controlling technique is applied, has core technological superiorities of high efficiency, safety, and customization as it is a combination of advanced technologies such as MEMS and intelligent chips. Last year, the project has accomplished its first clinical scientific research surgery. On October 15, the White Cane Safety Day, more than 20 media outlets including CCTV, People’s Daily, HNTV have reported the success.
